Hecate
Hecate is often seen with sacred dogs who were her companions. My Hecate, has had her leg bitten off by her dogs and she wears her prosthetic with pride. Hecate is often depicted carrying a spear which represents the rays of the sun god Helios.
Many modern followers view her as a guardian for disabled individuals who face societal barriers or discrimination Hecate’s golden prosthetic celebrates her disability.
Medusa
Medusa’s Bad Hair Day
My Medusa has a snakes’ egg hair do whilst the snake themselves are squirming out of the box she sits on. Finally, graffiti which says Bad Hair Day will adorn one side of her box.
Asteria
Asteria is the daughter of the Titans Phoebe and Coeus, and aunty to Apollo and Artemis. In order to escape Zeus Asteria turned herself into a quail diving into the sea and finally arriving at the island of Delos.
