Odysseus was the King of Ithaca and famous for his intellect and cunning he is the mastermind behind the Trojan Horse and spends ten years trying to return home after the fall of Troy.

The Trojan War

Odysseus devises the Trojan Horse strategy that successfully ends the 10-year siege of Troy. 

The Odyssey

His journey home to Ithaca takes an additional 10 years and is filled with perilous obstacles. His crew faces the Cyclops Polyphemus, the enchantress Circe, the deadly Sirens, and the sea monster Scylla. 

Return to Ithaca

Upon returning, he discovers his home is overrun by suitors vying for his wife, Penelope’s, hand. He disguises himself as a beggar, reclaims his kingdom, and eliminates the suitors.
